My friend Gj told Santa himself to send me the book Illustration Now 3
It is the third [obviously] in the Illustrator Now! series and shows a collection of work by illustrators from around the world.
My favourite illustrator from the book is Mr Ronald Kurniawan
I know I didn’t have to pick a favourite and there are some amazing pictures in the book, but something about his pictures makes my heart smile.

Remember at school when you had to write out around thirty Christmas cards to all your classmates, probably using a gel pen and being really careful not to write ‘love from’ on the cards for the opposite sex.
My brother is 10, and found it hilarious when his friend Ads/Adam/Ad had spelt his name wrong on his Christmas card.

As my friend Dorian and myself love Lady Gaga, I thought I’d make him a Gaga themed birthday card :]

I have also been asked to trial a set of birthday, and maybe Valentine’s Day cards for a lovely sandwich shop in Manchester.

Timing is so important in life.
Remember when you met the love of your life that time you decided at the last minute that you were going to go out for a drink, but missed your bus and had to walk. Then you passed in the doorway and caught each others eye, and the rest is history?

Or maybe that time you didn’t cook those burgers for as long as it said on the instructions and gave the love of you life food poisoning.
